Logic, soul, and the city: Celebrating Seattle Eastside’s 40 Under 40
I’m not good at writing about myself, so this post has been sitting in drafts for a while. But, I figured if I am here to tell stories of women-founders through webdesign and architecture, I should tell mine too.
This January, I had the honor of stepping away from the blueprints and wireframes to celebrate with the community of builders, visionaries, and intentional founders that make Seattle’s Eastside the vibrant ecosystem it is.
Being named one of 425 Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40 wasn’t just a personal milestone; it was a powerful reminder that when we build with both strategy and soul, people take notice.
The night was a beautiful, expertly curated where high-energy celebration met with deep, quiet gratitude. Walking into a room filled with the city’s most ambitious minds, I was struck by the shared logic of the room. Every person there has spent years pioneering their own industries, from healthcare to high-tech.
If I’m being honest, I prefer to spend my days obsessing over the flow of a user’s journey. But once in a while I get to be a part of places where the flow is human, having conversations about not only what you build but also why you build it.
Engineering a legacy with empathy and passion
People often ask why I lead with Engineering and Empathy when talking about brand strategy and website design. The gala provided the answer. Seattle is a city built on the grit of industry and the refinement of the PNW aesthetic. We are a city that demands things work, but we also want them to feel intentional.
Receiving this award reinforces the mission of Brand Unpuzzled: to provide the structural integrity that women-led businesses need to scale to create a digital homes that are as robust as they are beautiful.
Looking Forward: Building for 2026
If this night taught me anything, it’s that we are just getting started. The State of the Union for Seattle business is strong, and the demand for sophisticated, soulful digital systems is higher than ever.
To my fellow honorees, my clients, and the intentional founders who trust me with their digital homes: thank you. Let’s keep building.
